I've just started putting DD in the hug hold (legs out), but I think I must be doing something wrong. When I look in the mirror, DD's legs are crooked - one hangs down much lower than the other. I try to straighten her, but she just slips right back down into that position, kind of hunched to one side, with the one leg dangling lower than the other. I've tried re-tying it really tight, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. I'm not that bothered by it (she still seems secure), but I'm worried it's not good for her posture or spine development.
Has anyone else had this problem? What am I doing wrong?
Re: Moby wrap: what am I doing wrong?
She loved having her feet tucked in for the first month, but lately she gets really squirmy like that, and can only last about 20 minutes before I have to take her out... She's pretty really long for her age, so maybe she was getting too cramped. She seems really content with her feet out - the only concern I have is about her being "crooked."
This! It's likely that you have the crosses spread unevenly and that's making her go crooked.
