I know Baby Bargains doesn't rec. them for safety reasons--baby can use the changer to climb out and fall. I know they are a good deal, but I wouldn't chance it. Hth!
My SIL used it for my nephew and I think she is using it again for her next. I have heard the samething from her and others that they use it to climb out of the crib. And honestly she never used the changer she bought a changing table!! o.O

I didn't buy one for this reason...and now that DD is pulling up on everything I am soo glad I didn't!
I guess I'm not understanding how they can climb out onto the changer and fall, unless you keep the mattress in the highest position for too long, in which case, they could just as easily climb out the front and fall.
I know that for us, once Baby is able to pull him/herself up to standing, the mattress is going down to a lower level so that's not an issue.
