if you put a wicker basket on your dresser/changing table, did you put something down first?

like a piece of felt etc..or did you attach something right to the back of the basket even, so it doesn't scratch the surface? I ordered a SaraBear basket and i had a chance to see one in person at Target and noticed the bottom doesn't have any protection..

  • I registered for a basket and I plan on putting something down underneath it for that reason....not sure what yet...maybe a small peice of a kitchen drawer liner that prevents it from moving around too. Just enough so it doesnt scratch, but so no one can see it too Smile

  • You can put little felt pads on it, like they use on the bottom of furniture. That would work great.
  • I put some of that meshy-type squishy kitchen/drawer liner stuff under it - same color as the dresser and basket.

  • I put a burp cloth under mine. Works great.  Hasn't scratched it yet.
  • like the pp said you can use felt feet for furniture or a drawer liner. I was going to hot glue a sheet of felt to the bottom of mine but I found a self-adhesive sheet with the furniture feet things at Home Depot so I used that, it's a sheet of felt that already has the sticky on it.
