Wall Decals...Question!

Do they work on walls that are textured? Or do the walls need to be completely flat and smooth?

I my experience they work best on a flat smooth surface, but the ones I used can even be applied to stone and many other surfaces.

It depends on the texture.  They work best on smooth surfaces, but they can also work on pebbly surfaces-- they just won't quite look like they were stenciled on as they do on smooth surfaces.  However, if you have the stucco type wall with pointy spiky things sticking out, that does not work because it pokes right through, and that's very visible.
