i didn't do the official 3-day ---but i did just PT my boy in 3 days. He hasn't had an accident in 3 days and the first two days were the worst with only 2-3 accidents.
he had been using the potty off and on for awhile. we picked a 3 day weekend and just put him in undies. we talked about it A LOT and took him to use the potty pretty frequently (but not every hour - he used to keep diapers dry for hours at a time). huge praise every time he went. Our stuffed animals have also been using the potty
Someone posted the whole article a long time ago - I was lurking and copied it to my home laptop. When I get home tonight I'll look for it. I'm going to do it in November - taking a week off from work. Can't wait to hear how it goes for you!
I didn't do the official 3 day PT method, but I did it in three days. Basically, I just went "cold turkey". I put DD in panties and told her we were going to use the potty. I took her about every hour just to try. When she went on the potty, she got a "treat" (M&Ms) and two stickers (one for her sticker chart and one for herself). When she had an accident, I didn't make too much of a big deal about it. We cleaned it up and she sat on the potty just in case she wasn't done. Anyway, the first day was pretty rough with probably 5-6 accidents (and 5-6 successes in the potty. The second day we only had 2 accidents. And by day three, we only had one and only b/c she had a friend over and I was too distracted to take her and/or remind her. After that, she was basically PT and rarely had accidents. Took longer for naps and at night, but other than that.
I'm actually thinking of doing DD#2 in two weeks when I have a free weekend. She's been wanting to for a while and I hate to miss it, though I had planned on waiting at least until Christmas and maybe until next summer (since DS should be coming right around her second birthday). Worth a try.
I will be deleting my post above around 11 am. Copy it now if you need it!

Sure!
If I don't get a response now I will RP this later today.
