I want to make a birthday hat like this one but cannot find a pattern except this one! Does anyone have a free pattern or do you think this is worth the $10?

Someone tell me what I am doing wrong to make this clicky!
"http:<a href="https://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=31509657">Hat</a>"
to fix the link, make it start with "http....."
as for the hat, i made lucy's out of a triangular piece of paper, rolled together like a cone. it took a little work to get the right shape, but i wouldn't pay the $$.
let me know if you have more specific questions i can answer--her hats are pictured here:

I still cannot get the stupid link to work
I remember seeing the pics of her birthday party, very sweet. The hats are really cute and I probably could make it work with paper. I am making a fabric Happy Birthday banner and wanted to make a hat for him out of that fabric also. I guess if I could make one out of paper I could use it as a template to make one out of fabric. I just dont know if I am that crafty! I prefer step by step instructions!!!
