DH and I really like the name Charlotte. It came to mind initially because Charlotte, NC is where we spent our first night together. ;-) Anyway, we think it's a beautiful name. Any suggestions for a middle name. I liked Ann or Anne, but DH thinks it sounds too much like "charlatan". Dang him!

This name is on the shortlist if we have a girl. And with the middle name: Anne. I really don't think it sounds like charlaton, because they're totally pronounced differently! Also - the spelling "Anne" makes it even prettier.  Men. haha!

Absolutley love Charlotte.  It's beautiful and classic.  Has cute nicknames if you want them (Charlie, Lottie), but it's not one of those names that people are going to automatically nickname when you don't want them to.

My husband begged for Charlotte. He loves it. I was kind of "meh" on it, but he said if I'd agree to Charlotte, I could have whichever middle name I wanted. Fortunately for both us, the baby is a boy, so that ended the name battle.

I have always loved, loved, loved the name Charlotte, so much so that I went and wasted it on a a dog when I was 12, and I really loved that dog, so I could never use it on a DD now

My shih tzu was Charlotte Rose. 

Use it because I can't! I love Charlotte!

we are planning on naming our LO Charlotte Montgomery...But we are reconsidering b/c it seems like Charlotte is becoming a popular name all of the sudden (I feel like I hear it everywhere lately) and we don't want to end up with an "Emma" or "Ava" name
