old navy maternity

I just bought a sh!tload of maternity clothes off of oldnavy.com

Im not showing yet, but all my shirts/pants are tight so I figured what the hell. I just have a feeling I am going to be xtra huge so I ordered them all in XL. I hope I made the right decision.

Re: old navy maternity

  • I'm liking Old Navy maternity so far! I've been buying such a variety of sizes - it's really hard to know what to buy. I figure as long as the clothes are cheap I can buy bigger ones if needed.

I got one pair of khaki pants that are great b/c the elastic waist is adjustable - I'm hoping they'll be useful for a long time.

  • I love Old Navy. Yesterday, I bought two of the cardi coats. They're not maternity, but since they a) only button at the neck and b) were only $20, how could I pass them up?!

  • They may be big at first, but you will grow into them. I bought XXL at ON (I was a large before), and they were the only shirts I had left that still fit and were long enough to the cover the belly.

  • I've actually found some Old Navy stuff to run a little bit big. I'm an XL at Motherhood and Kohl's and Target so I ordered a bunch of stuff from Old Navy in an XL, and its a little big on me. I still have 16 weeks to go though so hopefully I'll grow into it!

  • I'm so sad because all the Old Navy stores in our area used to have maternity clothes, but now the nearest one is an hour away!! : (  For some reason the stock at our stores started dwindling and now it's just not there.

I guess I'll just have to order online.  I'm always nervous about that though because I'm picky about the way things fit!

  • ON rocks!  I have found certain styles fit me differently, some things fit me and others were too small in certain sizes on the same day.  I have grown a LOT- I started out in small tops and now a large is barely fitting me at 34 weeks so your XL investments will most likely pay off!  Great prices too and the quality is good for the price.

I also just ordered the (non-maternity) foldover yoga pants, yoga wrap hoodie, and some tank tops in the "tall" size to wear as hospital/home jammies post-partum- they are all soft and stretchy jersey and I figured instead of nursing tops I could just fold down the regular shelf-bra tanks(for tandem).  I also ordered a cardi-coat to wear home from the hospital!
