Hey, sorry for the 1st tri question!!! I think I have allergies really bad, but I don't know. Can I take Airborne just in case it isn't allergies? I'm kind of feeling miserable.

Call your local pharmacist and/or your OB to ask. It doesn't say on the package if pregnant women can take it or not, does it?
If you do take it, I would think that would mean skipping your prenatal vitamin for the day because there are certain vitamins/minerals you don't want TOO much of. But again, I'd ask a medical professional just to be safe.
I can't answer yes or no about it being okay...but isn't airborne classed the same as something herbal? I'm thinking it's probably fairly safe if that's the case.
Does the box have any cautions about taking it when pregnant?
Also, you can take Emergen-C. I took that while pregnant. I wouldn't take OTC allergy medications. I talked to a pharmacist who explained the drug classes and I was told Class C drugs shouldn't be taken during the third trimester (and yes, she double-checked all of her information with this huge book).
No....Airborne is on the bad list because it has too much Vit. A. It probably wouldn't hurt at this point in the game, but to be safe I would stay away. I use Emergen-C when I start to get sniffly and it's great!
Thanks everyone. I don't have the box any longer, and I have tried Benedryl, and Claritan just doesn't work for me. I'll call my doctor. I figured I'd get a faster response on here than him, he's closed until 3.

That's what I was thinking but I don't have a package here to check. I'd go with Emergen-C too! I like the raspberry flavored one.

This. I usually take Airborne when I feel a cold coming on, but the level of Vitamin A was enough for me to avoid it this time.
"For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever."
Ask your doctor about how it could reacts with your pre-natal vitamin first. It's basically an over-dose of a combination of vitamins to boost your immune system. I've been avoiding emergen-c because I don't want to take too much of anything I shouldn't.

Also, you can pick up what's called a Neti-Pot at your local Walgreens for about $15...it's a nasal saline rinse (sounds pretty gross, but it works wonders!) Monday I woke up feeling really sick, but after a hot shower, using the neti-pot, and a glass of Emergen-C I felt good as new!
