Really wishing I could serge tonight

I'm still kind of wide awake right now.  But, poor sweet pea is sleeping and I don't want to wake him up.  Plus, there are some relatives ? here tonight because one of them is going in for surgery tomorrow so I don't want to wake her since she needs her rest.  And I don't feel like knitting.  My hands and brain are unoccupied right now.

Yeah, I do actually.  I haven't picked it up in a week so I could finish it probably by the weekend and start book 4.

That's the way to do it!  I still don't look ahead at the next set for the soakers and they're super easy.

I wish I could serge but I don't have a serger.  That's my Christmas wish.  For now I just have my lame $50 (brand new) sewing machine.  Yup... I have machine jealousy.

My serger was a huge splurge that has helped me deal with DH being away all summer and most of the fall.  I wouldn't have it this year if he hadn't been gone.  But, definitely keep it on your Christmas list.  I hope you get one!  :-)
