I am looking at my registry, and thinking that I don't even have the space for a bottle sterilizer, much less am I even going to use one if I am breast feeding? What do you guys think? I am thinking I will probably un-register for it...
Boiling water. What they ARE good for is sanitizing toys and stuff. If you dont want to take the time to bleach them, etc. I have a dry sanitizer and if DS friend comes over and then "magically" is sick AFTER coming to my house. I throw what she touched in there and sanitize it. LOL

Re: Are bottle sterilizers really neccessary?
Dishwasher. Sterilizes them every time. No problems on our side!
But, I agree with PP, you can always boil them, too!
