Tonight we had our center's milestone birthday party.  I got to be the one manning (wo-manning?) the DIY cupcake station for the wee ones. 

I loaded them UP with icing and gave them free reign on the sprinkles and sugar toppings.  

What? It's not like they are my kids---beeeeeetches!

He's the single greatest thing I've done in my life and reminds me daily of how fun (and funny) life can be.  He's turned out pretty swell for having such a heartless and evil mother.

    This reminds me!  When I taught school, all the other teachers would send their classes to me (for their once-a-week music class) without having been to the bathroom first.  Inevitably, many kids would ask to leave class for the bathroom, and I was not allowed to tell them no.  At the end of the year, I'd reward some of the classes for good behavior with a movie and snacks-- including all the sweet tea they wanted.  Mwahahaha

    I do this in Sunday School a lot.

    I bribe the kids to be quiet with Skittles and other such goodies.  Then the last 10 minutes of class I let them eat it.

    Then they go home.
