I have totally lost interest in sex. It is CD12 and DH and I haven't even gotten to 1st base since before AF. I just feel so violated and disgusting since my HSG. The fact that yet another dr. will have access to my vag on Friday doesn't help. Has anyone else ever experienced a disconnect with thier body from tests and drs?

tell me about it. Yes. But i think that sometimes i get so bitter that I"M the one doing all the testing and poking and prading, etc..that i just dont wanna be touched. It typically goes away after a few days
Oh phew...glad I am not the only one. I feel the same way. Thank goodness DH has been so understanding. Maybe after Friday's appt when I have more info about my cervical polyp and a plan for removal I'll start feeling more like myself again.
This is me exactly, and I haven't been poked and prodded as much as others have. I can very much relate to that disconnect.

OK, not a fun topic, but lol at 'all access pass'.
definately was disconnected for a WHILE after the miscarriage in April... legs spread wide open for hours while various people poked proded and looked while I layed there in excruciating pain, hooked up to two IV's (yes, two) had two cathiters put in and taken out and had 2 internal ultra sounds and when all was said and done I was given a shot of morphine and told to take 6 IB profen every 4 hours for the next 3 or 4 days... and then I had to go back three times that week to make sure everything was out (but at least those were Dr. visits with the same person).
I did not want to be touched for about 2 months, and then then still had no interest in sex.
Now though, since we're getting ready to reach that old due date, we're finally excited about trying again. A second trimester miscarriage on your birthday is something that takes a little while to bouce back from.
6 months later, he's allowed to touch againI don't feel disconnected anymore.
