Help with little girl shoes for wedding (LIP)

My DD is a flower girl in December.  She just turned 2, and is wearing a white ankle length dress with a dark silver sash.  I was thinking of getting her one of these pairs of shoes to wear:

Or do you think she should have white shoes?  It is December so that seems wrong to me.  Any suggestionsof other shoes appreciated!

  • I'd do white shoes! It's for a wedding, and I don't think the "no white after labor day" rule is "in" anymore.
  • Where do I get white dressy shoes???  I want decent ones that will be comfortable.

  • I'd probably do white too. Or silver.

If you do black, do a patent leather. What color are the bridesmaids dresses? I actually think a red patent leather would look really cute, but it depends on the colors the bride chose.

  • I would do white too, or silver.  DD was in my sister's wedding this summer and I found a pair of white shoes at Shopko (payless brand if you have a payless near you).  They were really cute/dressy, but had nice grippy soles so she wasn't tripping/sliding all night on the dance floor.
  • I would go silver.  My cousins 2 yo was in a wedding on Friday and wore pretty much exactly what you're describing.  She wore silver shoes, and she was adorable.
  • I'd shop endless.com since white shoes are not in season in the stores (if you decide to go white).  That's what I had to do for my DD (she needed off-white shoes last weekend).
