Sadly, I'm sure there are a few rare people who are happy about their miscarriages (I don't who, specifically, I'm just speculating). . .but I find it highly insensitive to share that information.
Uh...ummm...WHAT?! Why would someone be "happy" about their miscarriage?!?
I knew a young lady who was addicted to heroin, had gotten sober, then prostituted herself to start using again and was pregnant from one of those encounters. She didn't think she could ever quit or at least not anytime soon, and had a very reasonable fear that she had AIDS. She didn't believe in abortion. She was happy about her miscarriage.

I agree.
I guess I don't understand why people feel the need to share every tid bit of their lives on tweeter, myspace and facebook. Especially in this case, where it is just disturbing.
Thank God, I have never experienced a miscarriage. However, I want to jump through the screen and punch that woman. She is a whole new level of stupid. Words can't even describe how I feel about her.
I get that sometimes a miscarriage is a blessing, but for some reason she rubs me all the wrong way.
I can understand her being relieved. She was planning an abortion & would of had to travel out of state in order to do so because of the laws in her state & her insurance. Maybe she is relieved that she didn't have to go through with the abortion even though she knew the pregnancy wasn't wanted.
The fact that she thinks that you have to tell your suppervisor about a planned abortion or misscariage is beyond me though. This is a not something that needs to be shared with your boss. By law no one has to tell the boss this. In either case. For that I find her annoying.

I would be suprised if she used twitter though.
yeah, that's a pretty good example. I can imagine more, sadly. However, if someone were happy or relieved or whatever else, I would hope that it would be the kind of feeling you keep to yourself. Not exactly like winning the lotto or buying a new car kind of happy...
