Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

DS is getting pretty good with his fork.

Today at lunch he speared up & snarfed most of his fish sticks by himself.  Although, if there was a piece he was having difficulty with, he'd grab it and pop it in his mouth with the same hand holding the fork.  That's cheating, Eli.

He looks so proud of himself with every completed bite, it's so cute.  Where's my pause button?

  • I know, it's so bittersweet. DD's doing that too.

Get out the video camera. I did. DH looked at me a little funny, though.

  • Jealous! DS is on some thing lately where he doesn't even want to touch a utensil. Not a spoon or a fork, of any kind.

I'm sure DS will get there at some point too.  Right now the fork is a novelty, next week it will be a projectile.  :)
