bumps on forehead from falling....

My son comes home from daycare at least once a week with a new bump on his forehead from falling.  How long does it usually take for a knot to go away?  I'm concerned about one in particular that has last over 3weeks.  Is that normal?  Should I take him to the Pedi?

DS has never had a bump from falling, but he has had them from bumping into things or other kids. Usually his are gone within a day or two. I would be concerned about 3 weeks.
