Re: Anyone have the Britax Boulevard?

  • We have the Roundabout and I love it!! It's so comfy - DS asleep the second I put him in the car (which he doesn't do in DH's car where we have the Graco Triumph).
  • We have it for Claire and love it.  We plan to get the same one for Keira when she finally hits 20 lbs!  It is quite big which I guess could be a problem if you have a small car and are planning on fitting more than one carseat in it at a time, but it's not obnoxiously huge.  I researched quite a bit before purchasing ours and although it is pretty pricey, the reviews I read on it made me confident in spending the extra cash.  It rates very high in side impact safety and that was important to me.

  • We ended up getting the Roundabout 50 and love it.  It is as big as the Boulevard/Marathon, but a 50lb. limit.  The price was the same as the original Roundabout - $199.  I kind of thought the Boulevard was pricey.
  • We switched to a BLVD when DS was 6 months adjusted - he's be 4yrs old in January and we all still LOVE this seat.  My favorite things about it are the fact that you can adjust the strap height with a knob instead of having to unthread and rethread and the side impact protection wings - safety combined with the fact that they make great pillows for kids who want to sleep in the car.

If I could go back in time I would buy this seat again in a heartbeat and if anything happened to this one I would replace it with another one :-)

  • LOVE our Boulevard.  It is so secure and easy to adjust and a breeze to install with the LATCH system.  Love, love, love it!

  • Have it, love it! It'll last a long time and I think the True Side Impact Protection head wings are a very important safety feature. It's super easy to install (even on an airplane) and I love the no re-thread harness adjuster.
