Just got an email full of new born pictures. I want to throw up

OMG.  I literally had my mouth full of my lunch too.  What makes it hurt a bit more is that the pics are from the 20 year-old, unmarried, girl that I tutored through high school.  She doesn't know about our loss and she'd feel awful if she did.  I want to be happy for her, but I'm sad for the college experience she's going to miss now and on top of it I'm so sad for me.

I'm totally leaving lunch and going shopping. Retail therapy is never wrong is it?

I have a tough time looking at babies or pics of babies... It just hurts too much.

Today while sitting in a high school cafeteria (I'm an admissions counselor at a college), 2 girls came up to me to ask me questions about my college...these girls were both very pregnant. It took all I had to act professional and just smile at them. In reality I wanted to throw up.

I am so sorry you had to deal with that. Sometimes it feels as if the universe is just trying to kick us while we are down. Hang in there, and totally buy something great while shopping. I had to take out my m/c frustrations on my DH's bank account. So far I have made him purchase a new bed, a weekend getaway, and new windows for the house.
