Five minutes does not equal a nap

MIL watched DS today while I went to the doctor.  She had to run over to pick up BIL from school and DS fell asleep on the way back.  It is literally less than a five minute drive.  Now I have him home and he is refusing to nap.  Apparently he thinks he already did.  Gah!

Re: Five minutes does not equal a nap

  • I try to avoid car-seat-fall-asleeps as much as I can (I shout or try to stimulate him) because any time my son snoozes for 2-10 minutes in the car, he thinks it's a nap and will refuse to take one once we get home.

I do this too! :)  I sing to him, try to make him laugh, say his name over and over again...ANYTHING to keep him awake!
