all of the sudden, DS has crappy toys

Sort of like that switch that was mentioned in the earlier post (great post!), all of the sudden DS's toys suck and he really has no interest in them. I'm trying to use them in different ways since he like to stack, bang things together and carry stuff around. Just like that he is ready for big boy toys. We went to visit a friend this weekend who has a 3 year old with a HUGE play room. DS's eyes lit up like a christmas tree at the trucks and trains and cars. Then he came home to his "baby" toys. Lucky his birthday is next week!

i felt that way too around the time she was 10-11 months. Once her birthday came she got lots of cool new toys and we expanded her playroom and she's still having fun with everything she got then!

hahaha...I felt the same way.  MIL came and brought some new toys, and DS was so excited.  Now, he is less interested in toys.  And why would he be when he can spend an evening trying to jump off the back of the couch while enormously pregnant mommy tries to keep him from killing himself.

With all the chasing we do at this point, I can't imagine doing it with a belly! Kudos to you for that!
