Trick or Treating?

Are you taking your LO out trick or treating?

I am thinking of just dressing her up and passing out candy at our house.

Just wondering what others are doing.

Re: Trick or Treating?

  • Nope.  Maybe take a walk around the neighborhood so he can see the kids, but that is it.  We don't need to T or T.

I am sure the gparents will object, but I don't care.  They wanted us to T or T last year when he was 6 weeks old.

  • We are taking Tallen out.  We will be visiting our family in Michigan and he will get to trick or treat with his cousins, which I am SO happy about since we do not have any family around here.

He is going to be a pirate...ARRRRRRR!

  • We're going to. Just the houses on our block. He's a total AW, so I think he'll love it!
  • Yes we are going with a few friends to peoples houses we know. Like Grandparents, uncles, friends etc....
  • We'll take her to my moms and J's parents house where she'll get her treats. Then from there I'll do a couple houses for the photo op and head home to pass out candy!
  • We'll see how his temperament is when the day arrives.  As of now, we're not planning on it.  I'm absolutely certain that he'll be terrified of all of the other little kids in costumes and hate seeing all of those strangers gushing over him in his costume.
  • No, we will probably just pass out candy. We will be hosting a vehicle at the neighborhood trunk or treat. She will NOT be getting candy though!
  • Yup.  We live in a pretty small neighborhood so we'll just ToT there.

  • We're going to go out at 6ish to go visit family.

  • We'll probably go to our church's trunk or treat.

ok--that's twice now....WTH is a trunk or treat?

  • Yes, but just on our block at at Nana's home block.  He is getting a push and go car for his b-day (this Saturday) and I will be taking him T & T in it

  • Nope. We will probably bring her in costume with us when we take DS trick or treating, but we won't be getting candy for her. And then when she gets tired, one of us will go home with her and pass out candy.

I don't see a point in taking a 1 year old trick or treating. They probably can't say trick or treat, and they can't eat 1/2 the candy anyway. If you want to dress them up and show them off, just do it. They'll never know the difference.
