We are taking Tallen out. We will be visiting our family in Michigan and he will get to trick or treat with his cousins, which I am SO happy about since we do not have any family around here.
We'll take her to my moms and J's parents house where she'll get her treats. Then from there I'll do a couple houses for the photo op and head home to pass out candy!
We'll see how his temperament is when the day arrives. As of now, we're not planning on it. I'm absolutely certain that he'll be terrified of all of the other little kids in costumes and hate seeing all of those strangers gushing over him in his costume.
Nope. We will probably bring her in costume with us when we take DS trick or treating, but we won't be getting candy for her. And then when she gets tired, one of us will go home with her and pass out candy.
I don't see a point in taking a 1 year old trick or treating. They probably can't say trick or treat, and they can't eat 1/2 the candy anyway. If you want to dress them up and show them off, just do it. They'll never know the difference.
Re: Trick or Treating?
Nope. Maybe take a walk around the neighborhood so he can see the kids, but that is it. We don't need to T or T.
I am sure the gparents will object, but I don't care. They wanted us to T or T last year when he was 6 weeks old.
