i would love to get a mic or camera (or something) to put in diaper bag to hear what goes on during the day at daycare. DH thinks i'm going crazy...i just have this odd feeling about the lady not doing anything with the kids all day.

anyone do this?

Why don't you just straight up ask her? You can usually tell when someone is lying.?

i know, i've already mentioned it a bit to her.

no clue if it's legal - i'm not going that far with the thought! i was wondering if anyone actually ever did it!!!

If you're not 100% comfortable with your DCP then I would find a new one.  follow your instincts on this one.

This! Completely! If you have a nagging suspicion that is reason enough.  You should feel completely comfortable leaving your child with someone or find someone new asap!

I've never done this.  When we switched daycares, I did stay there for several hours a couple of times, just to see what they were like, how they treated the kids, etc.
