Noooooooooooo!

I stay home with DS during the day and work 3 nights/week.  It's tough.  Wednesday is my day off - no work, and DS goes to Mother's Day Out for 6 hours.  I've been sick this week and was looking forward to just laying around and watching crappy movies.  I get DS bundled up, pack a nutritous lunch, head out the door and....my car won't start.

Seriously, I feel like crying.  Not only can I not get him to MDO so I still have to be Fun Mommy all day, but we're stuck in the house and can't even go out and do something to break up the day.  Crying

  • Ouch. That sucks. Can you go for a walk somewhere?

  • Oh no! I'm sorry. Maybe try the car again in a little bit? Is there anyone you can call to check out your car. Maybe it's something simple?
  • Oh no!!  A walk is definitely in order--do you have a neighbor with jumper cables in case it's just the battery?

  • I can't do a walk, I feel pretty weak still.  The battery is turning over, so I don't know if it needs to be jumped.  At any rate, I'm home, so I don't consider it an emergency to necessitate getting the neighbors involved or DH coming home early.  It's just really sucky, booo.
