I stay home with DS during the day and work 3 nights/week.  It's tough.  Wednesday is my day off - no work, and DS goes to Mother's Day Out for 6 hours.  I've been sick this week and was looking forward to just laying around and watching crappy movies.  I get DS bundled up, pack a nutritous lunch, head out the door and....my car won't start.

Seriously, I feel like crying.  Not only can I not get him to MDO so I still have to be Fun Mommy all day, but we're stuck in the house and can't even go out and do something to break up the day.

Oh no! I'm sorry. Maybe try the car again in a little bit? Is there anyone you can call to check out your car. Maybe it's something simple?

Oh no!!  A walk is definitely in order--do you have a neighbor with jumper cables in case it's just the battery?

I can't do a walk, I feel pretty weak still.  The battery is turning over, so I don't know if it needs to be jumped.  At any rate, I'm home, so I don't consider it an emergency to necessitate getting the neighbors involved or DH coming home early.  It's just really sucky, booo.
