On Friday I bought a pair of Long & Lean jeans. I love them. They fit so well when I tried them on. Well I wore them on Sat and within an hour they had stretched so much that they were literally falling off of me. The butt got so saggy and I eventually had to take them off.
Do you think the store would let me exchange them for the next smaller size? I still have the tags and the receipt but the tags are not attached. I just don't think I can continue to wear the ones I have because they stretch out so much.
Re: GAP shoppers - I have a ?
Christmas 2011
I hear you. Being 5'3" and petite, it is impossible for me to find pants that fit off the rack unless they are capri's, so unless I wear super high heels, I pay $7/pair to hem and around $12/pair to get the waist done. But, I did find that when I do that, my clothes last so much longer since they fit so well.
Also, try eBay if you want nicer jeans but don't want to pay full price. Like the PP, I love AG jeans, but am a serious bargain shopper. Once you know your size/fit in just about any brand (incluidng Gap), a lot of times you can find NWOT or NWT jeans for half the price on eBay.
If Gap won't return them, try calling or emailing customer service and see if they'll do anything.
