Thoughts on 1st birthing class from last night

So I actually really enjoyed it and DH did as well.  Everything we went over last night I did already know either from here or from reading.  DH is not a reader so he hasn't read anything so everything was new to him.  He got so excited when she told us that at this point Ry can distinguish between Mom and Dad's voices.  Also she started moving around a lot during the relaxation excercises and so DH just got to feel her and watch her move and he really enjoyed that.  I really enjoyed the experience more for DH but I am really glad we are doing them now.  Plus I am getting to learn a lot about the hospital etc that I didn't know before.

Damn, does this mean I need to sign up for a class now?  MoT said the same thing about it being more for the DH than us because, well we know so much more about it!

I just signed up for a bunch of classes and I am really looking forward to them.  It's just going to be DH and me (duh) in the delivery room so I want us to learn as much as we can beforehand.

I felt the same way.  I totally didn't want to do it but was glad we did b/c DH learned a lot.  Glad you had a good time and are going to enjoy it!
