i just got this lovely email from the photographer after speaking to her last week about possibly re-shooting or figuring out how to make it right. After her attitude and attacking emails i said i just want to be done with it and i want my money back.

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the images from your boudoir setting.
However, the images that I created of you are consistent with my style and approach to boudoir photography. Moreover, they are consistent with professional standards.
In addition, while I was not obligated to do so under our contract, once I let you know your images would be ready for your review soon, you indicated you were impatient and wanted to see the ones I had finished. I worked diligently that evening to get you your images edited and uploaded to the online gallery, putting you ahead of my other customers I needed to get images to.FYI this is BS. The contract states that proofs will be ready in a week. I did the shoot on Thursday and got the proofs the following wed
As such, after you indicated your disappointment with the images, you then inquired about the cheapest and smallest album. I am a bit confused and unsure as to why you do not like the images; you had seen my work on my gallery and knew my style. Your comments about your body seem to be personal issue but I am sure your significant other would love them. There is nothing you can do about the shape of your body. You just have to learn to live with it or change it. (heres the throat punch)
Nonetheless, I will entertain your request for a refund.
As a good faith gesture I am willing to refund you the full amount you paid for the portrait session which would be a refund of $350. Please recall that at various points during the session I would show you the images and you responded, ?That?s nice,? and when pressed for more specific feedback you complained about your body, (again major BS) not necessarily the way in which it was being shot. I did not take this personally at the time because I knew you were self-conscious (HA me self conscious? bwahahahhahahaha!!!) about having it done in the first place. I mention this, not to blame you, as you suggested in our last phone call, but because I believe I have provided you with images of a professional quality. Quite frankly, I believe your look beautiful in those images.
As a contract was signed between us, it will need to be formally dissolved. I will forward a money order to you in the amount of $350 immediately upon receiving the attached Release signed by you.

Susan,
If this is what you need to tell yourself to believe you did a good job then fine. We BOTH know that this is NOT what happened. do not confuse the facts. I was more than willing to work with you to resolve your errors and you did nothing but get defensive and send me arrogant emails. So fine. Tell yourself you did a great job. If that was the case i would be a satisfied customer.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Unfortunately your eye's opinion does not count as i had paid you to do a good job. You should really focus on improving your problem resolving skills.
You can say whatever you would like about my body. I am perfectly fine and i LOVE every single curve-so does my husband. It is not my fault that you do not know how to handle customers with dignity and class, or that you lack creativity in your "photographic skills". Using standard posing and clicking a butting does not make you a good photographer. Check your ego.
I will not slander your studio or speak negatively about it. I will do the best thing for me. Forget about this entire experience and pretend that it never happened.
You are blocked from my emails as of today. I will not take your attacks or harassment anymore. I have returned the release contract back to you and, as stated, i will be expecting my refund within 10 days.

FYI...I never saw the pics but from what you described I would be doing the same thing.
This last email crossed the line. I read the other ones you posted and I thought maybe she was trying to come to a compromise and make you happy--which is essentially what you paid for. But her true colors come out in this and she is completely unprofessional and a downright rude biitch.
I commend you for keeping your response email as cool as you did. I'm not so sure I wouldn't show up at her "studio" and rearrange her facial features.
