Hello there CF moms! I have a 4 week old and was wanting some ideas on what to do when it's hot outside. I feel like I've been stuck inside for most of the past 4 weeks and I'm sure my little one is starting to feel the same way.
walk the mall, or IKEA, go the Library for story time, I meet my husband for lunch at his office. At 4 weeks you can do anything you want to do, in a couple months the baby will have more say. Go to a museum if thats your taste.
Go outside in the evenings when it is cooler. I carry DD to the curb to get the mail just to take her out during the day. If you are in the Orlando area, Orlando health has some great programs. a Breastfeeding TEA for babies 0-8 weeks you can weigh them before and after eating to see how much they are getting and ask questions, very helpful for me. They also have a twice a month program called Moms meeting moms for babies 0-6 months. Both of these programs are FREE. They do have a mommy and me program that is $45 for i think 3x a month for 3 months.
i felt the same way....i didnt "go out" till my son was almost 7 weeks old...going to the mailbox was our favorite! LOL
but strolls around the neighbor hood are good, when the temp cools in evening or jsut take a drive, or go to park and stroll him
Florida Hopital also have breastfeeding mom group :includes light lunch and scale, $8.00 2520 N.Orange Ave. every Tuesday at noon.....celebration on Monday at noon
