I was on a summer swim team with Brett Favre's sister.

Yeah, sad connection.  Good thing he's good at football, because he's actually kindof an ass.

DH is a good friend of Jay McCarroll, who won the first season of Project Runway. 

I went to high school with Keith Bulluck, who plays for the Titans. 

Please tell me Jay is less weird than he appeared on the show.

I think I have this right....

My great grandmother's maiden name was Hanks.  Mary Todd Lincoln's (Abe Lincoln's wife) maiden name was also Hanks.  They're from the same line of Hanks and it's also the same line as Tom Hanks.

So, I'm related to Abe Lincoln and Tom Hanks - by many, many, many steps.  But cool, nonetheless!!! 

I have a distant distant relative that was friends with John Wilkes Booth....

My brother's great-aunt (we have different dads) is Gladys Knight...and his grandpa was one of the Pips!

Also, my uncle is married to a famous model in Japan.

Oh and DH's family just may be related to a famous producer. But we have yet to confirm that.

My uncle (who is now deceased) was very good friends with John Grisham.  They went to law school together at Ole Miss.

DH went to high school with Jason Mraz, they were in some video class together and all they did was goof off the entire time.

My dad's frat brother's niece is married to Darius Rucker.

My BFF from college was on a high school dance team with Erin Andrews (ESPN sports reporter).

The dad of one of my friends from college played in a college band with John Goodman and they are still very very good friends.

That's all I can think of right now.

Sir Francis Drake is my some number great grandfather.

Also my aunt and uncle are very good friends with Tom Brady's parents.  My uncle just went fishing with Tom's dad for his birthday.
