MH is painting the nursery and the paint is completely mucking up!!  Every time he rolls over it the paint peels off and gunks up on the wall.  It is Behr paint which I thought was supposed to be decent (I used to only use Sherwin Williams and now I know why).  I just want to cry b/c I want the walls to be smooth and not textured.  We've gone through a gallon and I don't know if we should use the other gallon or go get some from Sherwin Williams tomorrow.

I've used Behr in the past and I've NEVER experienced that.  I would take it back and complain.  I don't know if there is such a thing as a "bad batch" of paint, but that doesn't sound right to me.  Good luck!  I know how important the nursery is.  :-)

I just had the same issue with Behr. What we did to fix it was use Kills (I think that is how you spell it) or primer on the walls wait until it dries and then sand down the walls so that you have a smooth surface again and then repaint. But I would say that if you have already used up the paint that you have go buy the Sherwin Williams.

I know that can happen if the paints been frozen. I tried using some that we had in the shed (over the winter) and the exact same thing happened.
