I dont know yet. But I dont think im going to ask. My sister told me to just see if she thought of doing anything to honor her dad and say I came across somethings that she could to and see if she tells me instead but I may just leave it alone. I do think many people from her side will leave early because of it. I know for the people who knew him for the last 30-40 years will have a problem with it and maybe thats why her mom is really not ok with the idea.
I did google how to honor a parent at a wedding and alot of people did say they were going to have an empty chair. So I am thinking she may have googled it and found this idea.
