Don't want to be an alarmist, but should I call the dr?

I've been very queasy today and now I'm achey - like I have the flu, but I don't *feel* sick. But I am sneezing... but I don't think I have a fever.

Given all the hype about pregnant women and the flu and getting early treatment, I'm not sure when I should call the dr. WDYT, wait until I'm full-on sick-sick, or just kind of sick?

  • See how you feel in the morning. Don't call over nothing.

  • if you don't have a fever, i don't see the point.  take a sudafed or something & go to bed.
  • I had the same thing last week and it went away within a day, thankfully. I really thought I had the flu but it ended up turning into a sinus infection, despite all the body aches  Give it some time and rest. Drink some tea, eat something. Do you have a fever? The big thing with the flu is a high fever.
  • My husband has had the same thing + a slight runny nose since Sunday.  He claims he is starting to feel better today.  I would wait until at least tomorrow.

  • I had the same thing where I was achey and tired for a day along with a scratchy throat and runny nose.  By day 4 I was on antibiotics for an upper resperatory infection; but it clearly wasn't the flu -- I had no fever and the "aches" were minor.

I'd wait a day or two and see what happens.  I think I got a little bit of a cold + a bacterial infection that took advantage of my lowered immune system.  The runny nose and itchy throat were here for a few days after the antibiotics had cleared up my chest.
