DD has a stomach virus :(

She's been emptying out both ends all yesterday and today (including a huge vomiting session last night). Talked to the Pedi last night and went in today because she was still having diarrhea this morning and had spit up again. It doesn't look like it is anything more than this little bug that has inflamed her tummy and bowels - but it might be a UTI as well, we'll know in a couple days. All the diarrhea has given her a pretty nasty diaper rash too, she's already had 10 dirty diapers today (on top of the few last night) I feel so bad for her. She's pretty much been sleeping, she'll wake up to eat an ounce or two but it causes her to be in so much pain from the irritation. I hope this passes soon!

In some good news - she was measured and weighed today and had a HUGE growth spurt over this past month. We had switched her to formula for a few reasons - one being my low supply and her not getting enough and gaining weight really slowly. Well it definitely worked. 

About 7 weeks ago (at 2 1/2 months) she was 9lbs. 6oz. and 22" long

Today at 4 months she is 14lbs. 6oz. (5 pound gain!) and 24" long. She went from the 3rd %ile in weight to the 50th and the 10th-15th%ile in height also to the 50th!

oh my gosh, my heart goes out to both of you!  I am dreading DS getting sick this winter.  A stomach virus just went through his whole daycare last week...thankfully he hadn't started yet...we dodged a major bullet. 

Hope she feels better soon!  Poor baby!

Aw, I'm sorry your little one is sick.  I hope she feels better soon.  That is fantastic about her growth spurt, though!

Thanks guys. I'm so hoping she'll feel better soon - she's been sleeping since this afternoon and waking up every hour or so to eat a couple ounces. The worst part is changing her diaper, her poor little tush is so irritated - I think I've gone through half the tube of butt paste already.
