The 5x7 idea is good... I may try that next time. I did 4x6 and bought 4-ish by 6ish color-coordinated envelopes at Target, near the scrapbooking and greeting cards. Clearance, for $1.20 for 8 or 10, I forget...
I do the 5x7 size. I don't do with scrapblog but an invitation program. I download and print them at Sam's. I have found Sam's has great quality prints and have used them often. Let me know if you want me to email you some that I have done. Usually a local paper supply company has envelopes that I buy. In NO, I used Gem Printing on Vets for envelopes.
thanks everyone! the more i look at it the more i think the 5x7 will be a better size. i'll check out target, and if i can't find any there i'll go check out that place in new orleans!
Cajun- by the way, I love Houma! I am in Lafayette now (my hometown), just moved a few months ago and Houma reminds me a lot of Lafayette. Not too big, not too small, and good cajun people!!!
Natalie designed mine and I printed them on a 5x7 at Walmart's photo center. I was originally going to use Shutterfly, but it would have taken too long and Walmart was slightly less expensive.
I used a free coupon code off snapfish and got mine free shipping and free 30 invites. I used scrap blog to design it myself. I did 4x6. I got the envelopes off of ebay.
Re: if you made your invitations on scrapblog
I printed in the 4x6 size, and I bought the envelopes from Etsy.

I also bought cute envelope seals from this seller on Etsy:

I bought the A6 size - they are 4.75x6.5.
She might not have them listed. You could convo her?
This is what I bought:

I exported the high-res image and printed them at snapfish in the 5x7 size. Comes with envelopes, and return address printing is free.
It did cut just a little off of the left and right, but I had planned for that and left some empty space around the edges.
