So I was on the second tri board earlier and

No one had heard about the wives tale about the line of nigra..Just wondering of any of you have heard of it...If the line stops @ your belly button you are supposed to have a girl..If it continues past your belly button its a boy has any one heard this...It was actually true for my son...

    i'd never heard that one either.  and i also realized i don't have one this time around.  why is that making me sad?

    I've heard this, not true for me though. Mine went all the way up to my sternum and I had a girl.

    I never heard that. I had the line, but mine stopped at my belly button. I had a boy, so obviously not true for me.

    Never heard that one before. I didn't have a line with either pregnancy. I have one of each.

    I had a very, very, very faint one. DH did not think I had one until I made him look close. It went only to my belly button.

    Oddly enough, I didn't get one until AFTER DS was born.  How weird is that???  It showed up later.  And it stopped at my belly button.  Not accurate for me, in that case.

    Hmm, I've never heard of that!  And it wasn't true for me with D, because mine stopped at my belly button.  Honestly, I guess I didn't even know it ever went higher than that!

    Sadly, I still faintly have mine, so who knows how it'll end up looking this time around!

    Never heard of that.  I can't remember for either pregnancy!!  Maybe it's just right now I can't remember due to this baby.
