that your love for a friend is measured with money?  Did you know that your excitement & support for a friend is measured with money?  Did you know the only way to honor a friend is with money?

I didn't know that...until today when someone involved in a shower we're co-hosting said that.  I'm so offended and pissed at this person I cannot see straight.

So after we spend

$180 on tux

~ $100 money for hotel room for an out of town wedding

$80 for gas to the wedding city that is 3 hours away

money for a bachelor party WEEKEND at the beach (don't know how much this will cost yet...probably $150-250)

$162 to board 3 dogs for 3 nights (have to be there Friday for the rehearsal since DH is in the wedding, the wedding is Saturday evening, vet is closed on Sunday so we can't pick up until Monday)

You have the nerve to tell me I'm being cheap b/c I can't go over a certain amount for a shower???  You have the nerve to tell me I don't honor my friends b/c I can't spend more money??  You mean that after this wedding is costing us at least $672 that we're being CHEAP?!?!
