I rarely hear about swine flu outside of the nest, but today my communication teacher was saying that the building had it's first confirmed swine flu case.  ::sigh::

i took a break yesterday because of this stupid cold.  but it's JUST a cold. it's not the flu. i've had no temperature, no aches, nothing but a sore throat and stuffed nose.  so i'm good, right?  tell me i'm okay, Dr. Nesties...

our in home daycare had 3 confirmed cases of H1N1 this past week and 7 cases of hand foot and mouth, and i didn't freak out one bit.

i'm not really sure what to be scared of.  when i got home from the hospital on sunday, my mom, MIL, etc. were immediately jumping to, "omg swine flu!!  did they test you?  are you okay?" 

but not a single dr. or nurse mentioned it while i was there.
