I know that people have their own opinions, I'm not trying to start anything, I just wanted to know if you had heard about this. I don't have cable, so I don't watch the shows... But do you girls that watch think you'll keep watching it still?

This doesnt surprise me, but I stopped watching that show when they announced their split..  I dont even enjoy watching the reruns from happier times anymore, the whole situation is so depressing!

I never really watched it much at all and deffently will not now that it is so far away from what it first was.

It seems like the kids are just actors for the camera now.

I think it's time for the show to be done. It isn't what it was meant to be. I feel bad for the kids.

I have been watching this family since the very first special and I'm sure I'll continue.  I still watch it now, even though it's so contrived and awkward.  I love seeing the kids, but it's not like watching their normal life, any more.  I do wish Kate would put a stop to it, realizing it's for the best.  But, hypocritically, I'll still watch as long as it's on.  DH and I both do.

ETA: I do agree with Lynchie about the reruns.  I can't really watch those any more.

I stopped watching after the split was announced too.  I said it before and I'll say it again. 

Jon is going through that thing that happens alot (not all guys, I know!)  But when men get married too young, then have kids then hit 30 and go "I wanna date! I never got out!" and they are looked at like scum bags.   Now add 8 kids and it's big news! 

And yes, his actions are that of a scum bag, but I think 10 years from now he's going to admit to his actions and hopefully become a better dad than he is appearing now.

I still have the show on DVR, but usually just delete it. I doubt I'll watch the new one either.

My DH sent me a link to an E! article about this, stating that Jon's been trying to get out of his TLC contract for months.  And that he has other ideas for reality shows. :-p

Blech. I'm soooo sick and tired of hearing about these two in the media. Enough already! I think they're both sick and twisted that they let cameras/media into their children's lives in the first place.
