18+ months no sttn?

Anyone else with me?  I see posts of people with 9 or 12 month olds not sttn and I am still up 1-3 times per night with DS.  Im getting frustrated and a tad jealous.  We have done No Cry Sleep Solution, and we let him fuss a little when we put him down at night.  He will not cosleep and we are not huge fans of CIO.  We have let him fuss for a while during his wake ups and he will go back to sleep but wakes up and cries again 10 minutes later, things ramp up to a full on melt down from there.

2 weeks ago he sttn 3x for the first time ever.  Since then he is back to waking up all the time. This is probably more of a whiney vent and search for comiseration than anything else.  I am one tired Mama!

If you have tried everything else and it's not working then CIO seems like the only solution left. I know a lot of peoplehate it but kids need the proper sleep in order to develop normally. I say do it. It doesn't last long..a few days and he will be down to crying for just moments.

DS doesn't and we've done CIO numerous times. He is just not a good sleeper. We'll get a random STTN most nights he wakes up at least once or twice.
