Are these worth it? After reading a post about snuzzlers (majority saying they didn't use them), I am curious if i should keep this purchase or take them back, too??
Are these the little pads that sit in the bottom of the carseat to catch accidents? If so, I opted against it because I read horrible reviews that they dont' work that well and that they don't stay in place and are more of a pain than they're worth.
FWIW, we had a snuzzler when DS was born and LOVED it, the nurses ok'd the use of it, and the fire department didn't say a word about having it in the car seat. DS was 7lb 1oz at birth and was swimming in his seat, it was nice to see him fitting in there more snuggly.
We have them and they have helped when we do our long distance traveling to FL from VA. We have driven through the night and put the girls in overnight diapers, but because they are in a sitting position for 12 hours instead of laying down like in a crib, the pee has no where to go and ends up leaking out the sides of the diaper by the morning. The piddle pads have kept the carseat from getting wet.
Since they were not that expensive we got them, but for daily car travel use, they are not needed.
