Hi ladies. I have an IUI scheduled tomorrow morning at 8:30. My RE has me taking Ovidrel at 9 pm tonight. Almost everything I have read says that ovulation will typically occur 24-36 hours after trigger. Should I just do the trigger this morning (24 hours prior) or take it tonight, as instructed. Last night I finished my Gonal-F & Lupron. I have 4 follies ranging in size from 20-16.
Clearly, with all of my medical degrees I think I know better ::sarcasm:: but wondering what your experiences have been.
Thanks!
Re: Ovidrel trigger & IUI timing
I would trust your RE on this one. He probably just wants DH's swimmers ready and waiting for your eggs to drop!
Good luck!

I would do what the RE tells you. It takes a few hours for the HCG to absorb into the muscle and then into the blood stream. You RE probably wants to make sure the guys are there ahead of time for the release.
Good Luck
