Does anyone know how to add a message on the top of a the blog. Like under the title, but before the posts start??

I'm trying to add a little message saying this is our personal blog and all pictures are unedited and not a part of my photography stuff. I swear I saw the option before, but now can't find it anywhere.

    Yup, let's see if I can explain it though!  When you are signed in, there is an option for "Customize" up at the top right...by "new post".   Click on "Customize" and you will be on the "edit layout" page.  You should see a box at the top with your blog name and (header).  Click edit in that box and you should see an option to type your "Blog description."  That is what you want.

    I've done that before. Where I'm looking to put this info is below the header. Like on this blog: https://www.kellyskornerblog.com/

    Go to your blog and on the top right, click "customize" so it'll take you to the add and arrange page elements screen. From here, select the "Add a gadget" option from the side and pick the "Text" option. Type in what you want to say and then hit save. Then drag that box on the side up to the top and it should slide under your header. I just tested it out and it worked for me, I also have my ticker up there so I know you can add stuff right under the header :)

    Do you know HTML?   YOu might be able to edit the code but the pre designed layouts can be a bit wonky for doing what they don't intend you to do.  I'll play around with it and see if I can figure something out.
