What did you put in your resignation letter?  I am telling my boss tomorrow and need to have a formal resignation letter.  I am not sure what to write in it.  I am telling my boss that I am leaving due to being a high risk pg (I work on my feet all day and lifting etc).

You are resigning, not taking a leave right?  I did a leave so I cannot help. I bet you could google and get a good example. Also you may check sidelines.org (I think that is the website) it is all about HR preg and bed rest.

You really don't need to give them a reason, it is your personal business IMO.  I would just state that due to personal and/or medical reasons you have made the decision to move on from the company, and then go on to state that you appreciate all of the opportunity and consideration the company has given you during your tenure.

 I left my company due to pregnancy... that and I am going to be a SAHM.  I was not required to give a formal letter of resignation.  I told them verbally my reasons.  If I had to give a letter though, I would have kept the documented reason brief and non-specific but professional because it goes in your HR file.  Then answer any questions regarding the resignation verbally.

I got something from my doctor saying that i was no longer able to work.  It was not a formal resignation though, more like a LOA
