Pediatrician

So, we're to the point that we need to start thinking about a Pediatrician.

Does anyone go to either of these clinics? https://www.westsidepediatrics.com/index.htm or https://www.childrens-clinic.com/index.html ?

I was thinking they might be best/most convenient as they're in the same building as my OB, and I work downtown and live in Beaverton/Hillsboro.  But really, I have no idea how to go about getting a pediatrician. 

Do I need to meet with them before the baby is born? 

Should we interview a lot or just find one that looks nice on the website?

Is it better to find one closer to home?  

Anyone have a ped they LOVE that's on the west side they want to recommend?  

Our insurance is pretty easy to deal with as we have LifeWise and they have a HUGE network, so I'm not worried about that. 

I just want to make sure to find someone that's going to be there for my kid(s) throughout their life.  In the last few years I've had 3 doctors that I've been pretty attached to, up and leave their clinic just to have to find a new one and it's getting annoying!

Any advice you can give me would be wonderful!!

Check out Dr Paul Thomas at Integrative Pediatrics.  We interviewed him earlier this month and were VERY impressed   He uses an alternative vaccination schedule (although he of course still recommends immunizing) and has separate entrances/waiting rooms for sick/well children.   He is really close to St V's. HTH
