Is white bedroom furniture hard to keep clean?

Dumb question I'm sure but I'm thinking about painting A's dresser and bookcase white and replacing her bed w/a white one. The woods don't match and I think the white would brighten the room up anyway.

    I think it's easier, because you can see the dust and dirt before it becomes a big mess.

    DS has had white furniture since day 1, and I will be getting a white bedroom set for DD when the time comes.

    Super easy. Plus, with wood furniture I always feel the need to use Pledge or Endust when cleaning and with the white furniture in my kids rooms I just wipe down with a damp cloth.
