Are you taking stool softener?

So since my test results showed that I am anemic, the nurse gave me Iron pills to take. ?She also said to take stool softener since I would be taking more iron. ?What time of day do you take stool softener? ?Do you take it with food?

    I take Docusate Sodium (generic & cheaper than Colace) each morning with breakfast.  I am also taking daily fiber tablets - one in the morning & one at night.  Drinking lots of water/fluids helps too.

    My prenantals have stool softener already in them.  That seems to work for me.  (CitraNatal DHA)
