I'm so ready for cooler weather so I'm going to do my best to convince DH to take us to a pumpkin patch this weekend. I'm looking at Burts Farm and Berry Patch Farm. Pros and cons? Do they both have the following?
We went to Berry Patch last year and they have everything you listed. They had farm animals, apple cider, homemade ice cream, face painting, hay rides and of course the pumpkin patches! I got so many good pictures of Caroline last year. This year I am excited to go back b/c she so much more active and can do more activities.
We've gone to Berry Patch 3 years in a row and can't WAIT to go again. As far as your list though, they do NOT have a petting zoo. You can see some farm animals but you can't pet/touch them (or at least you shouldn't). They have some pigs, goats, turkey, cows. Otherwise they have everything you listed! It's totally free too, unless you buy a pumpkin or food/drink!
We love Burt's! But that's up north of me, so it's a beautiful drive and not too far (I live in North Cumming, only 10 minutes south of the outlet mall). Not sure where Berry Patch is, but we might try that one this year too!
We are doing Berry Patch again this year. Probably not this weekend- but soon. As soon as it cools off a bit more. We had so much fun last year and I know Gavin is really going to love it this year. We were just at Publix today and they had their pumpkins out and Gavin kept calling them "ball"- so cute.
Re: Ready to hit the pumpkin patches- which one?
