Anyone lurking on 1st tri?

Fat worries vs. Feeling reckless

My question is that if you are that worried about following the rules, then chances are you won't eat that much that you would gain weight in excessive amounts (as many doctors keep tabs on for you anyway).  We all make our pregnancy choices, and many times, we laugh at them later on when our hormones aren't as raging!

  • They use the term worry too loosely over there. In the grand scheme of things, weight gain is the least of all worries.

  • No kidding!  I had GD pretty bad at the end and I was constantly worrying then...and when he had the cord wrapped around his neck...when he was in the NICU for 24 hours.  I worried I wasn't gaining enough weight at one point too...but really, getting fat is not a problem when you're pregnant...there are worse things

  • Yes.  I couldn't help but respond in the roller coaster post.  What an idiot.
