Did anybody have a bloody show and not go into labor on their own? If you did have a blood show and go into labor how long after?  Thanks!

I had my bloody show on a Thursday night, then horrible contractions all weekend. By my OB appointment on Monday (40 wks 1 day) they said I was in long early labor and they sent me to L&D and jump started my labor with some Pitocin, but I only needed it for about 45 minutes. Good luck!

I didn't have bloody show until my water broke. I did however, lose my MP twice.

My contractions started early AM and by mid morning bloody show/ mucous started.

I never did with DS....

With DD I lost my MP in chunks over the course of a week and went into labor about a week and a half to 2 weeks later.

Had my bloody show in the morning 8am, and was having minor contractions almost immediately but doc decided to start pitocin to get things moving at 11am since I was a week over due.

I started having bloody show early morning and was in early labor by that same afternoon.

Had bloody show at 8 pm and started contracting at 5 am the next morning.
