My doctor is now saying that she thinks I could have GD... I'm going to see a nutritionist on tuesday and figure out a diet to go on

I swear every time I see the doctor something new is wrong! I now have to go in for weekly ultrasounds, and then weekly NSTs until baby is born.

Re: Another update
that is ridiculous.
Anyway, at least you only have a few weeks to go - it shouldn't be too terrible. and they'll have you test your sugar and you'll find out that it probably doesn't matter what you eat and your sugar will be fine.
That just seems ridiculous, since M is measuring so small. I am sorry Sally. You are so close though. Hang in there.

Measuring small is another sign of diabetes in pregnancy--the blood flow is reduced by damage caused to blood vessels by the diabetes. I thought this was a Type I/II concern becasue those moms could've had the damage building for years, but maybe not?
You're in the home stretch now, Sally! You can do anyting for just a few more weeks. Are you going to EMFM? Joni there is wonderful.
